Boulder Vase with Copper Insert

This simple vase is cut from a Lake Superior Stone. A hole (3/4" X 3") is drilled and a removable hammered copper insert is added. The rock itself holds water for fresh flowers or it may be used for dried stems or twigs. Most boulder vases weigh between 2 and 3 pounds and stand about 4 inches tall. They may be used inside or outside.

Bud Vase -- Cairn Style

These natural rock bud vases feature a rock base that is drilled to receive a 4 inch glass (extra plastic included) vial . Three flatter rocks slide onto the vial to give the vase a cairn like appearance. These rocks may be twisted and restacked. The entire vase weighs between 1 and 2 pounds and stands about 5 inches tall. It is suitable for a few live flowers, weeds, twigs, or the first dandelion of the season. It actually looks great empty as well.

Business Card Rocks

Looking for a unique way to display your business cards? These rocks are cut to hold 1-40 business cards. Most are between 1 and 1 1/2 pounds and stand 2-3" tall. They are available in a wide variety of patterns -- speckles, crystals, bands, and solids.

Cairn -- Driftwood and Rock

Cairns have been used throughout history and the world as trail markers, coded messages in war, remembrances, prayers, and more. This variation adds a piece of driftwood to the rocks in the cairn. They are all drilled and slipped onto a dowel. They may be rearranged. Use yours inside or out. Typically 5-8" tall, they weigh 3-4 pounds.

Drawer Pulls

Lake Superior Rock is made into pulls for cabinets, dressers, bi-fold doors, and more. The rock is drilled, a fitting inserted and standard cabinet hardware used. A wooden spool provides a fingergrip. Pulls are usually 1.5-2.5 inches.

Paper Towel or Toilet Tissue Holder

A Lake Superior Rock base (typically 5-7" across) is drilled to receive a 1" wooden dowel. The cap rock ( about 3" across) lifts off. The dowel holds a roll of paper towels or 2 toilet tissue rolls. The unit stands about 15" tall and weighs from 3-5 pounds. It is stable so that you can pull off a towel one-handed.Each rock is unique featuring specks, crystals, banding or solid colors. Rain gauge

Copper wrapped glass rain gauges are set into a hole on the top of a unique Lake Superior rock. Rocks typically weigh between one and one and a half pounds and stand 7-8 inches tall. These are stable and not likely to blow over. Each rock is unique and may feature large or small crystals, speckles, banding, one dominant color or several tones. We will hand select a special rock for YOUR rain gauge.

A rock is drilled, screwed and adhered onto a natural tapered cork. The rocks were hand picked along the shore of Lake Superior. They are clear coated to bring out the colors and to protect the rock from oils.

These Lake Superior rocks feature 2 cut slices on the top surface. These cuts can hold both sides of a greeting card, photos, recipe cards, messages, name tags, business cards, whatever you need. Rocks feature solid colors, banding, crystals,and speckles. They are typically 2-4" across and weigh 5-8 ounces. Your 4 rocks will all be different.

USA Flag Rocks

Patriotic Rocks with the initials USA sandblasted into the rock have a hole drilled to receive a small United States Flag. The rocks are typically sized between one and a half and three inches tall. With the flag the entire unit is about 11 inches tall. These are suitable for display inside or out. Think of your desk, coffee table, window sill, or a grave. Whiskey Rocks -- Stone Drink Chillers

When you want to sip a chilled alcoholic drink without diluting it, use stone "Whiskey Rocks" instead of ice. A set of 4 stone cylinders rests in a wooden rack. Keep them in your freezer until ready to use; place 1-2 rocks into your beverage and watch the temperature drop. When you are done, rinse them, let them dry and return to the freezer. Rock is untreated granite -- the colors and patterns really pop when wet.
